Onzo is a world-leader in the collection and return of household energy data.

Products have been developed that enable high resolution data to be collected and returned to the utility seamlessly, at low-cost and which also provides customers with a simple and straightforward experience.

These cost-effective products work in a range of utility environments, operating with or without smart meters.

Sensing Based

Onzo's first-generation sensor is unique in its use of power harvesting and collection of accurate, high resolution power and energy data. 

With rechargeable batteries, the sensor clips onto the live meter cable and powers itself, thus providing a true 'fit & forget' experience.

Onzo is now working on the next generation of the sensor, which will have the same unique attributes but will be smaller and easier to use.

Gateway

Onzo's user-centric approach has lead it to develop a Gateway that will take data from a sensor and be uploaded directly to utility servers, and then onto the web or smart phones.

It provides a seamless, effort-free experience for customers.

EPEG-enabled Smart Metering

Onzo has taken its expertise and developed software that can be included within any smart meter.

The EPEG cluster within the meter is able to capture the same high-resolution data as our sensors and compress it into data-packages that can be returned to a utility over the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).

Packaged data can be returned to the utility as often as needed and provides the basis of a increased customer interaction, as well as the potential of high-value additional new services.
